This past week, Freeman students gathered along the parade routes on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday to celebrate the beginning of carnival season. Catching beads and cups from the Krewe of Cleopatra, Krewe of Freret, and Krewe of Sparta parade floats, MBA 2s took a break from studying to enjoy the day and evening uptown parades. Because the Catholic holiday and the Business School spring break overlap this year, these early weekend parades will be the only taste of Mardis Gras 2014 for many students.
