MBA Students at French Quarter Fest 2014

This past weekend students took a break from studying to enjoy the perfect weather and endless eats at French Quarter Fest. A completely free music and food festival down by the river, French Quarter Fest is a four-day event for families, tourists, and any sort of local you can find. There was an entire area dedicated to children (sponsored by the Tulane Children’s Hospital), and an expansive art market in Jackson Square. Food vendors as diverse (and delicious) as Antoine’s, Theo’s, and Crescent City Pie and Sausage can be found enticing festival-goers along the river walk.
The food, plus Plum Street Snoballs, Pat O’Brien’s hurricanes, frozen daiquiris, and lots of Abita, easily make this festival my favorite of all the ones that New Orleans has to offer.
