Graduate School at Tulane does not always have to be strictly academic. There are many organizations that one can be involved in that might help broaden your experiences. One organization that many within the Freeman School of Business join is called Global Brigades.
Global Brigades is a student led and run organization that has chapters throughout North America and Europe. The organization seeks to stimulate sustainable development in countries such as Honduras, Panama, Ghana, and Nicaragua. Global Brigades seeks to stimulate areas by sending groups of students as volunteers into these countries to stimulate growth within fields they are passionate about.
The Global Brigades chapter at the Freeman School of Business was founded this year. Although the organization is relatively young, the organization is currently preparing for a trip to Panama the week after the MFIN program graduates.
