This week has made me very proud of my organization (The Tulane Entrepreneurs Association). It was tough, but we delivered a stellar first performance. Just wait until the big day! There are still some tricks in our bag.

When you come to the Freeman school, there is a lot to be learned inside the classroom. Study hard! There are also a million things that you can do outside of the classroom that often have an equal educational value. Being the President of this organization has taught me so many lessons including the importance of vision, necessity of team work, and the essence of good leadership. I’m definitely not all the way there, but I am a lot closer.

While I learned these lessons working for the Entrepreneurs Association, I think they are qualities that will benefit anyone in any profession. An MBA is just as much about becoming a well-rounded person as it is about financial modeling and consumer behavior.

Go get ‘em! Make big plans and work hard.
