Be Part of the Brain Gain

It’s no secret that many Tulane students come to New Orleans, enjoy their college experience, and go back home.  With a large population of students from the East and West coasts, that’s bound to happen.

As the economy continues to affect new jobs in the country’s bigger cities, many Tulane grads are now giving New Orleans a second chance.  It looks like other young people are doing the same thing.

This new study basically says more college-educated people are moving to New Orleans than any other major metropolitan area in the US.  According to the study, more than 36,000 college-educated people moved to the New Orleans area since 2007.  Much of this influx is credited to the re-population of the city after Hurricane Katrina, but it’s a great list to be at the top of.
