Last Thursday, Freeman Days New Orleans kicked off with an alumni reception at the Hyatt Regency downtown. Both undergraduate and graduate level Freeman students gathered in the Empire ballroom to meet and mingle with alumni and business representatives from all over the country. Alumni and recruiters were given color-coded nametag flags to indicate their industry, which made it easier for students to make connections and seek out potential opportunities. Encouraging students to reach out in the name of Tulane, some alumni collected resumes while others gave out business cards and contact information. In all there were over 250 students and guests who attended the event, making it a huge success as one of the best starts to Freeman Days ever.
