多次有人问到，是否有公司到Tulane去做宣讲？都是怎样的公司？答，来Freeman做宣讲的公司不在少数，其中也不乏一些大公司，但是总体感觉，金融公司占多数。我曾参加一个，Capital One的。该公司从高层到部门，浩浩荡荡来了10多个，都热情异常，积极地跟Freeman的学生交谈。这貌似是我去过的唯一一个吧。因为我压根没打算留下来，所以也就没往那方面使心思。今年10月份，路州几所高校联合，在Super Dome举办了一场据说是声势浩大的Job Fair，邀请了将近100个公司参加会展。Freeman还对学生有专车接送。当然，毫无例外，我没去凑热闹。

今天重感冒加发烧，鼻涕留个不停，外加刚刚喝了black coffee,整个人晕乎晕乎的，起来上个厕所都有种腾云驾雾的感觉。虽然明儿有个考试，在忙着准备，突然有想写点东西的冲动。

紧随圣诞之后的，就是新年。新年的庆祝以在Jefferson Square看着漫天烟花，跟着人群大声countdown最为刺激。因值寒冬，深夜的New Orleans终归还是有点刺骨寒冷，英文用的最多的形容词是Freezing。Jefferson广场坐落于downtown，对于居住在uptown的孩子来说，可以搭乘Tulane的免费shuttle前往Deming，然后下车走两步即可。美国人逢聚会必少不了酒；酒后疯狂，各种丑态毕露。一路走过去，此景色不在少数，大可熟视无睹，淡定前行即可。广场周遭很热闹，也很拥挤。如果结伴而去，最好密切相随，以防被人群冲散。
