So, I am walking to the streetcar from school a little after midnight (I live in Papillon Apartments, Tulane owned grad, faculty, staff housing that is 4 miles or so from campus, and as Amina said…you do end up working til midnight at school, on a sunday) and it seems they put new figures up in the academic quad. Here is a nighttime, and probably too dark, view of one of the figures. There is Tulane’s school of architecture at its best! Now, about Papillon apartments, you can find the link to the complex through the housing.tulane.edu website, but it is basically unfurnished condo-style apartments in the lower garden district. The building is a half block from St. Charles avenue and its streetcar, parades, and marathon. Well, here comes my streetcar to take me to my bed.
