On behalf of the faculty and staff of the Master of Finance Program at the Freeman School of Business, the Graduate Admissions Office is very excited to inform you that you now have the option to extend the length of the program for an additional semester with no additional tuition cost. If you do choose to extend the program, you will take the same number of credit hours (34), but you will spread the course work over a longer period of time. For example, you may defer a course in the fall semester and an elective in the spring semester and then take those two courses in the following fall semester. So, if you begin the program in the summer of 2014, you can finish it in either May of 2015 or December of 2015. By choosing to extend the program, you also will give yourself the opportunity to pursue a summer internship between the spring and following fall semester. We hope you are as excited as we are about this new opportunity to extend the length of the program. Please note, you will not need to decide whether you want to extend the program until after the program begins.
