What is a fun fact about you?

I’ve played softball since I was 4 years old. I ended up playing division 1 softball at Elon, where I played 1st base.

Tell us about your work experience. What you are most proud of?

I’m most proud of my work as an intern for Healthy Alamance. While I was interning, I researched and collected data for the community health assessment. Some examples of data I collected are food security rates, clinical care rates and poverty levels. While I was there I also ran social media campaigns for the community that included sharing information on weekly farmers’ markets and the new health initiatives. This work really inspired me to want to work within communities and create a bridge between people and healthcare.

Why are you pursuing your MBA?

I’m pursuing my MBA to further my knowledge and experience in the business world. Most of my experience is in public health so gaining this business experience will help me be successful in the healthcare industry.

What attracted you to Freeman?

I was attracted to Freeman because of the close relationships the school facilitates between students and faculty. I hope to gain vital experience here that will set me up for a successful future in healthcare.

Where do you hope to be in five years?

In five years I hope to be working as a hospital administrator in a successful institution. I want to be working my way up as a corporate leader and eventually become an executive officer.

What do you like to do in your spare time/hobbies?

Lately, I have really gotten into walks and reading more books for fun. Finding time for myself to go outside and do simple things to relax has been my go-to for my spare time.
