I would like to travel around the world, and I am learning French. 

Why did you decide to get your master’s degree?  
I really like playing with data and getting interesting insights from data. 

What was your favorite course and why?   
Business Analytics Practicum. We could visit companies from different industries to better understand what they are doing and whether we would like to expand our career in that industry. 

Who is your favorite business professor? What made them special?   
Professor Claire Senot. She is very interesting, and her class is very innovative. I learned a lot and enjoyed her class very much. 

What do you like to do in your spare time?  
I enjoy listening to podcasts. 

What is your past work or internship experience?   
Data Analytics Intern, Crescent Bank, New Orleans
Analytics Intern, Capgemini, Guangzhou, China

Where will you be working after graduation?  
I am currently a data analyst but still looking for job opportunities. 

What are the top two items on your professional bucket list?   

  • Being confident in public speaking. 
  • Becoming a leader to lead and inspire others. 

Which academic, extracurricular or personal achievement are you most proud of and why?   
My teammates and I completed a healthcare competition and placed high, while most of our competitors were majoring in computer science. 

If you were talking to someone who was considering Freeman, what would you tell them?
The professors are great, and we would get a chance to co-op with the company. 

What are your favorite things to do in New Orleans? Do you have a favorite New Orleans memory?  
 I really like the Crawfish Festival. 

Where do you hope to be in five years?  
To be a professional in my work and hope that I can start my world travel. Also, I hope I can have different experiences in different industries. 

What are your tips for balancing coursework, work and your personal life?   
Work hard and play hard. Never waste your time.
