My time in Jerusalem and the West Bank through Tulane’s Mandel-Palagye Program for Middle East Peace was transformative and is something that I consider to be a hallmark of my time at Tulane. The academic outcome of that program was an in-depth research paper centered on any aspect of the Israel-Palestine conflict, and I chose to write mine on the use of cyber tools in the Israeli military occupation of the Palestinian Territories.
The extracurricular achievement that I am the proudest of is leading and helping grow the Tulane music business club, Green Wave Sound. I have always been passionate about music and have been lucky enough to meet, partner with and work with other students in the business who also were passionate about working in the music industry.
I am most proud of two achievements: being selected to study abroad in Milan, Italy and my involvement in transforming Tulane’s Alliance of Black Business Students (ABBS). Both experiences were incredibly challenging and pushed me beyond my limits.
I am most proud of working with the first responders during the height of the pandemic, I feel joy in helping others.
My proudest moments came when I was managing over 100 employees in our healthcare technology consulting internal startup while our restaurants and bars were closed for the Covid-19 lockdowns.
I am most proud of my work as Senior Brand Manager at a CPG company and I was able to manage 11 brands with revenues of USD 11M.
I hope to be a professional in impact investing, especially in gender lens investing.
How well-respected program is and how it increases opportunities and experience. I hope to improve my leadership skills and make long-lasting friendships and connections.
I am pursuing my MBA to provide myself with greater mobility in my professional career.
